our backyard oasis?…


daughter: let’s eat on the deck tonight.
little tobin: ok, but we have to be careful of the west nile virus.
daughter: oh my god, you have to be kidding me.
little tobin: this is no joke! it was in the paper.
daughter: fine, how about the porch then.

new morning wake up?…

daughter: hey are you going out with your friends today?
little tobin: oh gosh, who can make those decisions at 9am.
First I need to have my coffee and then I need to just dance a little.
daughter: yup that seems like a plan.

this is where little tobin, the 2 cats & i live…peacefully…

little tobin: where are you putting that picture?
daughter: online so my friends can see where I live now.
little tobin: but then the creeps can find us too…
(house number has been photoshopped out due to potential creeps…
fyi we are listed in the phone book and have been for my lifetime, just sayin’)

and so it begins…

daughter: hey mom do you know what a blog is?
little tobin: umm no
daughter: it’s like a journal but it’s online.
I’m thinking about doing one all about my adventures moving home.
little tobin: other people read these?
daughter: yeah that’s sort of the point, to get people to follow you online.
little tobin: that’s disgusting.
